German ex-president snubs deal to end favors case

BERLIN (AP) — Germany's former President Christian Wulff has rejected a deal to shelve legal proceedings against him in a scandal over alleged favors that prompted his resignation. His lawyers say he'll instead fight to be cleared in court.
